Come and learn about how the MBTI (Myers-Briggs Type Indicator) tool reveals how we see and interact with the world, giving insight into our motivation and the motivation of others. The tool identifies 16 personality types made up of four basic preferences:
1. Where do you get your energy from?
2. What kind of information do you prefer to use?
3. What process do you use to make decisions?
4. How do you deal with the world around you?
There are no better or worse types to be; every type has potential. The indicator doesn’t tell you how good you are at something so for example, it will identify your preference when approaching a decision but that would not indicate whether you were a good or bad decision maker.
The tool helps you to learn about yourself, understand individual differences and can be applied to specific subjects e.g. communication preferences to enhance personal effectiveness.
